I’ve ordered this kit at price of 43.5 chf (now is 38 chf – without any visible reduction / promotion stated) and I’m not satisfied by quality of all product. My hair is long, wavy & curly 2b, 2c, 3a, low porosity, hungry for hydration and protein.
Cleanse – Organic Rose & Honey Cream Shampoo (60ml) – The bottle is very hard and you can’t squish out the product. It’s a no poo shampoo, aceptable but not woow.
Condition – Organic Rose & Honey Cream Conditioner (60ml) – I like this one a lot, did the job as I expected. The pump is very good and you don’t have to use a lot of product.
Activate – Sweet Hibiscus Curl Activating Lotion (60ml) – I could not see to much activation, it is just like a leave in. The smell is odd and not in a good way, like wet muddy grass. Don’t like the smell at all.
Define – Sweet Hibiscus Curl Defining Gel (60ml) – I like this one because is light, deos not charge the hair much. But the power of holding is quite low.
Refresh – Jasmine Oasis Hydrating Hair Mist (60ml) – What on earth is this smelling?? I have a lot of products with jasmine and this one here does not smell like jasmine at all. I used it on my hair just once and it is smelling like rotten fishes and grass. My husband who usually makes me very nice compliments asked what happened to my hair because is smelling odd… like fish. I would return the kit for that, but I like the gel and conditioner from it too much.
Also a free, reusable Flora & Curl travel bag – Not my cup of tea, is a cheep cotton bag.
I would like to try the flora&curl shampoo but with citrus, maybe the smell is better.
The kit is good if you want to try Flora & Curl products and to have them for travel. This was just my personal opinion and for others persons, products might be good. Just for the hair mist I have no doubts was not a fresh product and was altered.

You mention that the bottles are difficult to squeeze, and indeed is there a packaging revamp in the works to help with this!
About the lotion, there are a lot of tips on how to make it work better for your individual hair style! You can check out a load of tutorial here: Video Tutorials and we suggest trying to apply different amounts of lotion to wet, damp or drier hair, different hair styles have very different experiences!
We are so sorry to hear that you didn’t like the scent of the mist! Everyone has a different sensorial experience, and particularly as Flory & Curl is made exclusively with natural ingredients, it’s normal for the raw materials to have variations. Also, we are aware that 100% natural scents are different from their synthetic counterparts, so sometimes it takes some time to get our nose “used to” a whole new scent world! Of course, not everyone likes every scent, we are just very sorry you didn’t like this one!
