What's better than the first snow? When it's freezing cold outside, it's all the cosier inside. Winter is a magical time of year when you can enjoy nature and the atmosphere outdoors. Here are a few tips and tricks from our box of knowledge to help you look after and pamper your skin and body all the better:
Ginger detox body oil from Safeas
This ginger oil composition from Safeas is our little winter wonder: it has a warming effect and leaves a warm, cosy feeling on the skin. Wonderful for the whole body or just on the neck, feet and pulse points. This all-rounder can also be used as a bath oil - is there anything better than a hot bath after a winter walk?
Application: Mix 1 - 2 pumps of the oil in the palm of your hand and then gently apply and massage in. The oil warms and promotes blood circulation. For an intensive bath, add 3 - 4 pumps to the water.

Body Moon Dust from Moon Juice
Body Dust is a true all-rounder for the body: it strengthens the tissue and bones, but also protects and strengthens the immune system. Body Dust can also work wonders as an anti-inflammatory and stress reliever. In the cold season, it gives us extra strength and stamina. When the sun makes itself scarce, it is all the more important to draw strength from within.
Application: Mix 1 teaspoon of Moon Dust with a glass of warm or cold liquid. Tastes particularly good with almond milk.

Facial steam bath from Dr Hauschka
Warm steam baths for the skin are most pleasant in the cold season. Dr Hauschka's facial steam bath with its herbaceous fragrance opens the pores, clears the skin, has an anti-inflammatory effect and also relaxes. The facial steam bath is particularly effective for blemished skin prone to inflammation.
Application: Pour ½ litre of hot water over 2 tablespoons of facial steam bath and then steam your face for five to ten minutes with a towel over your head. Use 1 to 2 times a week.

Overnight Moisturising Mask from Tata Harper Skincare
Overnight intensive treatments are particularly beneficial for the skin in winter. Ideally, the Overnight Moisturising Mask should be applied after a facial steam bath and left to work overnight. It provides the skin with intensive moisture and nutrients, soothes even very stressed skin and makes it look fresher and plumper.
Application: As an overnight treatment, leave on overnight once a week or apply 2 - 3 pumps to the skin and leave on for 15 minutes to transform the overnight mask into an intensive treatment.
