The first thing you notice is the intense, fresh scent of mint and tea tree oil. The texture is a bit like fluffy butter: stable in the jar (as long as it is not in the sun) and melts immediately into a soft, waxy paste when touched with a finger. When applied to the lips, they immediately absorb the balm, leaving behind an almost imperceptible protective film that makes the lips soft and smooth and gives them a soft shimmer. The tea tree oil has a cooling and refreshing effect.

After the lip test turned out to be very positive, we couldn't resist following Figs & Rouge's instructions ourselves. So the next test was to apply the balm to the skin - and the surprise was huge! As with the lips, the balm cooled the skin, made it instantly soft and supple and conjured up fresh, red cheeks. All without make-up and with the natural glow of summer!

Subsequently, we have also applied this balm to mosquito bites (the swelling goes down faster, the itching stops and the bite heals faster), to the nail bed (very convenient when you are travelling and your fingers look freshly manicured in no time at all) and finally to get wild summer frizz under control. Simply dab a tiny amount of balm onto your fingertips and use it to shape your hair. Lasts a long time and looks absolutely natural.
