I'm a tea freak, I confess. Coffee never comes into my house, but it's not for health, religious or whatever reasons, I just don't like it. It smells good, but doesn't taste good... Fine, coffee is not the subject of this article.
The reason for this is the different teas from Teatoxthat I was allowed to taste for biomazing. To be honest, the name put me off a bit at first. The mixture of tea and "detox" in combination with "skinny" raised questions for me: do I want to drink tea to lose weight or to constantly detoxify myself? And is it really just about doing something "healthy" or "refreshing" for your body every day? But that's not what this article is about either. Perhaps I should ask the makers what the name is all about.
Drinking tea is a pleasure, it is a time-out in time itself, it is balm for the soul. It's about identifying different flavours and feeling what the hot drink does to your body and mind. For me, this is the much-described tea ceremony.
Good morning tea
First of all, the packaging is great, the tins are super handy and the tea is wrapped in extra foil.
The Good Morning Tea consists of lemongrass, dandelion herb, green mate leaves, goji berries, Sencha green tea, ginger, birch leaves, nettle, goldenrod herb & horsetail herb.
As you can see, here you have a mixture of herbs that are supposed to have a dehydrating effect, or rather mate and green tea, which really cheers you up. And that's what makes it for me too, it's a smooth flavour and wishes you a wonderful good morning from the cup.
Good-Night-Tea
The Good Night Tea consists of rooibos, lemon balm leaves, peppermint, green oat herb, hibiscus blossoms, elderflowers, yarrow herb, lime blossoms and cornflower blossoms.
Here, too, there is a standardised mixture; according to the information on the tin, it is soothing, digestive and antibacterial.
I love tea rituals. So I drink my bedtime tea before going to bed, I'm satisfied and I'm also doing something good for my body. But most importantly, it tastes good!
Matcha tea
You either love matcha or you hate it - that's how I've been feeling lately. But the green powder is increasingly conquering the catering industry - from cakes and lattes to smoothies - there are no limits to creativity. Unfortunately, you can often find stretched versions on the market, so be careful what you buy. But you can be 100% sure of this one, because it's organic. And if your good morning tea doesn't get you going, this matcha definitely will. Best enjoyed as a shot with 1-2 grams of powder, hot water at 80 degrees and don't forget to stir well.
Conclusion:
I am very satisfied with the Teatox range. The teas I have tasted are balanced, velvety and have a very fine flavour. If I can do something good for my body in addition to enjoying the tea, then there are even more arguments in favour. All in all, I would highly recommend Teatox and I look forward to trying more varieties from them.
With this in mind, don't forget your daily cup of tea, it can work wonders!
