Interview part 2: Safea's founder Daniela Kandrova on her beauty routine

In the second part of the interview with Safeas Founder Daniela Kandrova tells us about her favourites among the unique Safeas products, her daily beauty routine and the next steps into the future.

 

Biomazing: Which is your personal favourite?

Daniela Kandrova: There are many, I have my favourite for every care step. The Lemon cleansing gel must not be missing in any case, then the Fig eye serumthat Fig fluidthat Tamanu Repair Oilwhich Olive hand cream and of course the Honey regeneration mask.

Biomazing: Do you have a beauty routine that you use every day?

Daniela Kandrova: My beauty routine is simple and consists of three care steps: cleansing, moisturising and nourishing. In the morning and evening, I cleanse my face with the Lemon cleansing gel. In the evening, for a deep cleanse, I apply the Ghassoul cleansing mask up. Then I treat myself 1-2 times a week to the Honey regeneration mask. This is followed by the Fig serum. The care of the eye area is often neglected and perceived as important only when it is too late. I attach great importance to prevention. Eye care, e.g. the Fig eye serum I apply in the morning and evening. Finally, I apply the right face cream. Oil pulling, lemon water and yoga also help to strengthen my inner energy.

Biomazing: Is it possible to combine products from different lines or do you recommend using the products separately?

Daniela Kandrova: Yes, absolutely! All Safeas products can be combined very well with each other. Our skincare concept focuses on the skin's own individual rhythm and aims to fulfil the individual requirements of all skin conditions. For example, you can have both dry and oily areas or an oily T-zone and redness in other areas of the face. When a new season or a new phase of life begins, the skin's needs also change. It is important to follow the care steps of cleansing, moisturising and nourishing. The appropriate combination of products should be selected depending on the current condition of the skin.

Biomazing: Do you only use natural cosmetics yourself or do you also use conventional products?

Daniela Kandrova: I have been using only natural cosmetics and natural skincare products for years. However, I also had some bad experiences with conventional cosmetics.

Biomazing: What do you see for your future? What's next for Safeas?

Daniela Kandrova: We are currently working on the development of new innovative products. We'll tell you more soon!

Daniela Kandrova: To bring out our new products on schedule.

Biomazing: Which trends in natural cosmetics will be followed in the coming years?

Daniela Kandrova: We do not follow trends, only our own ideas and convictions.

Biomazing: Who will support you on your adventures?

Daniela Kandrova: My whole family. My husband and my three children are my constant companions, who go through thick and thin with me.

Biomazing: Your company is based in Munich. What connection do you have to this city?

Daniela Kandrova: Munich is a compact city, but it is considered the most beautiful city in the world. Munich's history also began with the construction of a bridge over the Isar. Safeas sees itself as a bridge between traditional and innovative skincare. When developing and optimising our products, we set ourselves the high standard of developing the best products.

Biomazing: To test new ingredients and plants, you certainly have to travel a lot. Do you enjoy travelling?

Daniela Kandrova: Yes, of course, I love travelling. Travelling inspires me and enriches me with new ideas.

Biomazing: Do you sometimes have difficult times or worries? Have you ever doubted your path?

Daniela Kandrova: Yes, they have been there before, but the passion and motivation are stronger. That gives you the strength to get through difficult times and to grow personally.

Biomazing: What is the best thing about your job? What gives you the greatest pleasure?

Daniela Kandrova: Of course, I am most pleased with the many positive customer feedbacks, especially when I have been able to help customers with more difficult skin problems.

Biomazing: Biomazing is about making the world a better place, for example by paying attention to a sustainable value chain. What does Safeas do to make the world a little better every day?

Daniela Kandrova: We should never give up hope that we can make the world a better place by doing a little good.
