A little reflection at Christmas time...

Christmas is just around the corner and is therefore a particularly stressful time for many. We would like to take a moment to remember why the Christmas season is important to us. Because apart from material gifts, love, well-being and time are the most valuable things you can give.

"No one can buy the most precious gifts, and yet everyone can afford them." - Jochen Mariss

Christmas is, according to tradition, a time of love and joy. During the festive season and the contemplative evenings leading up to it, it is the time of year when we can breathe a sigh of relief, forget all the stress of everyday life and spend time with our loved ones in a cosy atmosphere. And then you feel it again, the longing for peace and quiet instead of staring at the smartphone that separates us more than it connects us.
.

At Christmas time, everything suddenly becomes quieter and more contemplative. You can leave the hustle and bustle behind, light a candle, read or bake biscuits. When nature goes to sleep, we can also consciously slow down our lives to look after ourselves and those closest to us.

.

It's not easy for everyone to take time to relax, take a long bath or sit together with a cup of tea and candlelight and tell each other how much you love this time together.
.

... and so Biomazing does have gift guides and gift ideas (because you need them too!), but in our Winter Wonderland we also have ideas and suggestions for the Feel good in winter and Winter atmosphere at home where you can find candles, teas and other gifts for your loved ones, paired with lots of inspiration for the home. Because, above all and especially in the run-up to Christmas, appreciation, love and time with our loved ones should take centre stage.

Advent

The wind blows in the winter forest
the flock of flakes like a shepherd
and some fir trees sense how soon
it becomes pious and holy of light.
And listen out: the white paths
she stretches out the branches - ready
and resists the wind and grows against it
the one night of glory.

(Rainer Maria Rilke)
